Diabetes Support Group

A monthly support group is available for those individuals who are seeking more information on diabetes as well as an opportunity to share information and talk to others who have diabetes.The Wilson Diabetes Support Group meets Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 pm unless otherwise noted. Meetings are held in the lower level of The Wilson Medical Building (Door # 4). These sessions are offered free of charge and no registration is necessary. Insulin Pump Support Group

The Insulin Pump Support Group is for those individuals with diabetes who use an insulin pump or are interested in learning more about insulin pump therapy. Insulin Pumpers and their support person are invited to join in this unique group. Information on the needs, concerns and trends in insulin pump therapy are presented and discussed.The Insulin Pump Support Group meets on Mondays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm unless otherwise noted. Meetings are held in the lower level of the Wilson Medical Building (Door # 4). The group is offered free of charge and no registration is required. Follow-Up and Other Issues

Information and instruction on specific skills such as special diets, insulin use, monitoring with a glucose meter, and insulin pump therapy may need a one-on-one approach and can be scheduled in addition to class.
